Edge-Tissue is a 4-channel experimental film which investigates how bodies negotiate systemic oppression through movement, fragmentation, and transformation. Beginning from three distinct embodied perspectives—a Buyi minority identity, an office worker, and a miner—the work does not aim to represent communities, but uses the self as a methodological entry point.
Through digital bodies, motion capture, and performative gestures, the project explores how identity is shaped, constrained, and reconfigured within invisible systems. Rather than forming unity, these bodies remain in tension, intersecting at their edges—forming an unstable tissue of coexistence.
